The events in this calendar are organised by many different local communities and organisations, but have one thing in common - they will all help you enjoy the very best of what is on offer in the National Park. Please check details with organisers before making arrangements - they may have changed since publication.

Free Training Event for Land Managers
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority is continuing with its programme of free training events for land managers to address some of the key issues and opportunities currently facing them.
This course will look at current issues in upland management. We will focus on sustainable systems that will enhance the condition of upland habitats in the National Park whilst benefiting a range of key species such as Black grouse. There will be a site visit looking at grazing management, with a focus on wintering of livestock.
Practices such as heather and bracken management and native woodland creation will also be discussed on-site, and we will look at appropriate management options available under the Rural Priorities Scheme.
Please register prior to event. Contact Linda Winskill, Land Management Officer on 01389 722043 or email
