KIT-OUT the Park
This scheme was set up in 2007 as a way to assist tourism businesses
in and around the National Park gain access to a range of new
technologies.
KIT-OUT the Park (Knowledge, Innovation and Technology Out of
University into Tourism) is a partnership between Scottish Enterprise,
Glasgow
Caledonian University and the Park Authority.
It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the
Scottish Executive’s Expertise, Knowledge and Innovation Transfer
Programme (SEEKIT).
The scheme is already having a real impact in the Park.
Participating businesses have benefited from innovations in IT and
communications, food technology, sustainable design and construction
and renewable technologies.
