Angus Allan
Angus Allan has a strong background in applied biology, conservation and rural land management. He has an honours degree in Agriculture and a Masters degree in Business Administration. After farming a mixed beef, sheep, and arable farm in the north of Scotland he went on to serve as a senior manager in two of Scotland’s land-based colleges. In 2002 he became the National Specialist for Land-based education with Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education. In his current role as Depute Principal at South Lanarkshire College, East Kilbride he led a successful, award-winning project to build an affordable low-energy, low-carbon house as an education and training resource.
Angus was appointed to the Board on 15 March 2011 and his appointment will run until 30 September 2014.
