Local Access Forum Members

Bob Bennett Bob Bennett - (joined March 2008) Member of Perth & Kinross Access Group for 10 years, Bob has published leaflets on tracks suitable for wheelchair users and other mobility impaired people. Bob himself is a wheelchair user.
Janet Beveridge
Janet Beveridge - (Deputy Convener). Local farmer from Gartocharn who combines commercial sheep farming with habitat management for environmental gain.

Bob Ellis
Bob Ellis - Nominated member of the National Park Authority and Councillor at Perth and Kinross Council for 12 years. Bob is currently Chair of both Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust and the Path Network Group. He was also Vice Chair of Perth & Kinross Access Forum and is a regular recreational visitor to the National Park.

Alasdair Eckersall
Alasdair Eckersall - National Trust for Scotland’s Manager for the Ben Lomond property, with particular expertise in upland path design and construction.

David Warnock David Warnock - Nominated member of the National Park Authority. David lives in Callander and operates a small consultancy, working mainly in rural development, recreation and outdoor access and cultural and natural interpretation.
Lucy Sumsion Lucy Sumsion - became NFU Scotland Regional Manager for Argyll and the Islands in April 2009. Before this Lucy was a Farm Conservation Adviser with the Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG). Lucy was previously a member of both the Argyll and Bute and National Park Local Access Forums and was Convener of the National Park Local Access Forum from December 2006 to December 2008.
Kevin Fitzgerald Kevin Fitzgerald - Lives and works within the Park. Businesses include Land & Property Management for a riparian owner, self-catering cottages and Kevin is also a qualified Clay Target Shooting Instructor. Interests include cycling, hill walking and canoeing.
Marina Pugh
Marina Pugh - local resident with a keen interest in a variety of outdoor pursuits. Previously worked for Snowdonia National Park and has an extensive knowledge of land and access management and a background in nature conservation.
Don Milton
Don Milton - (Convener). Nominated representative for the British Horse Society also a keen walker and diver and active on a number of local committees.
Sue Riches
Sue Riches - Nominated representative of the Mountaineering Council of Scotland, a keen walker, mountaineer and skiier and occasional mountain walk leader. Committee member of Paisley Hillwalking Club, one of the largest in the West of Scotland.
Dorothy Breckenridge
Dorothy Breckenridge - involved in outdoor education and activity tourism for the past 26 years as an individual and through CNDo Scotland. Activity Scotland representative on the National Access Forum for a number of years. Previously Chair of the Scottish Countryside Activities Council. Currently on National Trust Scotland Countryside & Nature Conservation Panel and SNH Recreation Forum, and is SNH Local Advisor for Argyll & Stirling. 
Peter Baker
Peter Baker - Nominated representative for the Scottish Canoe Association. Peter began kayaking on the lochs and seas around Scotland after decades of mountaineering. A climbing accident left him mobility impaired but this has not diminished his enthusiasm and enjoyment for the outdoors.
Hilary Graham
Hilary Graham - A member of Ramblers Scotland since 2001, Hilary has a passionate interest in hillwalking and horse riding and is Vice Chair of Inverclyde Local Access Forum.

Robert Sparkes
Robert Sparkes - Nominated representative for Scotways also known as the Scottish Rights of Way and Access Society; a keen walker and surveyor of rights of way.


Iain Stuart Iain Stuart - (joined March 2008) Local farmer, keen hill walker and horse owner, Iain is knowledgeable of many recreational requirements and access issues.
Daye Tucker
Daye Tucker - (joined March 2008) Chair of Balfron & Port of Menteith NFU, Daye is widely involved with organisations that relate to land management and outdoor access and activities.
John Urquart
John Urquhart - (joined December 2007) Chairman of Lomond & Clyde Tourist Association and proprietor of “Lomond Guides”. Keen dinghy sailor and canoeist.
Yvonne Boles Yvonne Boles - nominated representative for RSPB, Yvonne has been a conservation officer for over four years and is particularly interested in balancing access rights with nature conservation.  Yvonne is a member of the Great Trossachs Forest Steering Group.
