Provost William Petrie

William PetrieProvost William Petrie OBE JP DL is the postmaster at Rhu. He is Provost of Argyll and Bute Council; Chairman of Argyll, Loch Lomond and Forth Valley Tourism Partnership; local councillor for Luss, Loch Lomond, Rhu, Arrochar, Tarbet, Ardlui and Glen Fruin; and Chairman of the Sir Walter Scott Steam Ship and Loch Katrine Project Trust. Provost Petrie is also Deputy Lieutenant for Dunbartonshire.

Provost Petrie was reappointed to the National Park Authority on 02 October 2010 for a further two years.
