Island for all seasons

What you may discover on the
island changes with the seasons. In the spring the island is carpeted in
bluebells which creates a magical backdrop for the wildlife you may spot
through the trees. In summer the island flourishes and becomes a rich habitat
for birds, flowers and plant life. Throughout the autumn and into spring
migrating wildfowl set up home here around the island, especially the Endrick mouth. Click on a season to learn how the island changes:
