Notice to Mariners

We have been carrying out a maintenance regime for the hazard buoys, navigation buoys and also the speed marks on Loch Lomond. Any buoys that need to be removed from their stations are replaced with a temporary orange mooring buoy (pictured) and will be recorded below.
Notices
- During this period of high water levels please also be aware that navigation marks are prone to movement and may not be in the positions indicated on the Loch Lomond chart or navigation guide.
- One cone is missing from the top mark on the South Cardinal at the southern tip of Inchmurrin.
- The light on the middle Port Lateral Mark at the head of the River Leven has been damaged and is currently not working.
- Cameron Bank Isolated Danger Mark is currently not lit.
- Torrinch North Cardinal is currently not lit.
- Luss Campsite East Cardinal is currently not lit.
- Rubha Ban East Cardinal is currently not lit.
