Waterskiing

Waterskiing is enjoyed by people of all ages in the National Park. Loch Lomond and Loch Earn provide fantastic surroundings to enjoy this exhilarating sport.
 
To get out on lochs Lomond and Earn, you can launch your own boat or use the facilities of a local club. The two public launch facilities on Loch Lomond are the Duncan Mills Memorial Slipway at Balloch and at Milarrochy Bay, north of Balmaha. Access to Loch Earn for water-based activities is at the western end of the loch at Lochearnhead.
 
Loch Lomond and Loch Earn are enjoyed by a variety of users, we ask that you show consideration of others and respect for your surrounding environment and always follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.
 
When out on Loch Lomond please ensure that you understand and abide by the Loch Lomond Byelaws. All motorised craft have to be registered with the National Park Authority and parts of the loch are subject to an 11 k.p.h. speed limit. Special attention should be given to Section 3.7 Recreational Towing. The master of the craft should ensure that whilst engaged in recreational towing they comply with all relevant parts of this byelaw.
 
No matter what your ability, waterskiing provides a great day out taking in the fantastic loch views of Scotland's first National Park.
